Women's Health and Literacy Welfare Society
In Pakistan, 62% of the population lives in rural areas, where the standard of living is significantly lower compared to urban regions. Despite access to basic services like education, health, and sanitation, rural areas, especially in Gujranwala, experience severe deprivation, particularly for women.
Our organization aims to serve these underserved regions, focusing on advocating for women's rights and improving their living conditions. Established in 1998, the Women Health and Literacy Welfare Society seeks to provide basic needs to rural women in Pakistan
Our organization aims to educate women about health and hygiene principles, providing them with the knowledge necessary to lead healthy families and better lives. By addressing educational backwardness, we empower women with awareness of their rights and duties. We organize classes and training sessions in villages to achieve these educational goals.
We conduct training sessions on diseases such as tuberculosis and gynecological conditions, raise awareness about hygiene and sanitation principles, and provide child care training and disease prevention education
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
